Delete your DadWell account

This page explains how to delete your DadWell account and the information linked to it, with or without the app, what we delete, and what we keep and for how long.

Option 1: in the app

  1. Open DadWell and sign in.

  2. Tap Settings, then Delete account.

  3. Read what will be deleted, then continue.

  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Option 2: without the app

If you have removed the app, cannot sign in, or your account is suspended, you can ask us to delete your account by email.

  1. Send an email to support@dadwell.app from the email address linked to your DadWell account. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send it from your Apple ID email address and tell us that you used Sign in with Apple.

  2. Use the subject line Delete my account. You do not need to give a reason.

  3. We will reply to that address to confirm the request came from you. Please answer our reply.

  4. Once you have confirmed, we start the deletion within 5 working days and email you to let you know.

We only act on a request we can link to the account, so that nobody can delete an account that is not theirs.

What happens next

  • Your account is closed straight away and can no longer be used.

  • You have 7 days to change your mind. To recover your account, sign in to the app and tap Cancel Deletion & Recover Account, or reply to our email.

  • We email you the day before the deletion becomes final.

  • After the 7 days, your account is permanently deleted, normally within 24 hours, and we email you to confirm.
